Prior to Kingfish, Jean-Baptiste worked on the portfolio management side and the acquisition search team of Portfolio Logic, a healthcare-focused private equity firm based in Washington, DC. Previously, he founded a new media start-up that sought to intelligently filter blogs providing a new model for online news. Jean-Baptiste began his career as a management consultant with BearingPoint.

Jean-Baptiste graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a B.A. as a College Scholar, studying economics and political science.
